Principal's Message

 

Greetings Hardy Elementary School Parents and Students,

 

Summer is almost over and we are gearing up for another successful school year! I hope you were able to take advantage of the great summer weather and enjoy time with family. As principal of Hardy Elementary School, I am proud and honored to announce that Hardy Elementary

 

REMAINS FULLY ACCREDITED!!!

Hardy teachers are excited about continuing the wonderful work with our new reading program and implementing even more student-centered instruction this school year. 

 

Our reading theme for this school year is "Reading Rock Stars!" We have wonderful rocking surprises in store for our little mustangs this school year....stay tuned! 

 

Last school year the division embraced project based learning (PBL) by embedding state standards into project focused instruction. Students were able to think critically, collaborate with peers, tap into their creative energies all while learning to communicate and speak to wider audiences. It was a SUCCESS! 

 

We will continue our journey of deeper learning this school year by allowing our students the opportunity to explore more hands-on learning and participating in discovery field experiments. We invite you to join us on our journey of deeper leaning and collaboration within the classroom.

 

Additional school information is as follows: 

 

- School hours are 8:55am - 3:50pm. Students can arrive starting at 8:35. Please do not drop off your child prior to 8:35AM

 

-All student registrations must be completed online. Please click on the following link for more details:

Once the online registration is complete, please bring the required documents to the school to complete your registration. 

 

-All parents will be required to complete emergency data forms online this school year. A letter will be sent home with directions and an access code for completion. With this new access, you will be able to log on and review your child’s grades, send emails to the teacher and update the emergency data form. - Breakfast is served in the classroom starting at 8:35 each morning.

 

- Please see nurse Elizabeth Denoncourt for prescription intake prior to the first day of school. All medicine must be accompanied with a physician’s prescription.

 

- Please refer to the school district website for information on bus routes and times.
