I have always loved working with children and began my career as a Speech Therapist in 1988. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Old Dominion University and a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Hampton University. I am nationally certified through the American Speech/Language Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Speech/Language Pathologist.

I began my career at Southampton County Public Schools and worked there from 1998-1996 and 2000-2014. I worked for The Children’s Center from 1996-2000.  I came to Isle of Wight County Public Schools in 2014. I was based at Westside Elementary School from 2014-2023. I have been at Hardy Elementary School since 2023.
