Principal's Message

Hello Hardy Family and Community Members,

It is a great pleasure to extend a warm Hardy welcome to our new and current Mustang family. As administrators of Hardy Elementary, we are excited and honored to lead a school community with a reputation and rich history that affords our students every opportunity to be the best version of themselves. 

The legacy of academic excellence at Hardy Elementary continues to thrive within the classrooms of our learning environment. Our teachers are creative and strive for this excellence by incorporating academic rigor, collaborative learning spaces, and helping our students to discover their unique gifts and talents. As your administrators, we aim to ensure that every student can be successful and experience authentic learning in a safe and supportive environment.

A crucial part of this success is attendance. As a parent or guardian, it is essential for you to maintain an attitude that "Every Day Counts" and for students to be in school, ready to learn each day. Additionally, we recognize that family and community support are integral to our success. Knowing this, we encourage you to join our PTA, volunteer during school hours, read with students, or pursue other avenues that will strengthen our students' development. Parents/Guardians are the most critical aspect in their child's success. I invite you to collaborate with us on this journey. 

Lastly, It is essential for our students to feel connected to school through positive relationships and a strong sense of community. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing all students with an appropriate and challenging educational experience in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth.

Our theme this year is building relationships with our students and families. As quoted by Dr. James P. Comer, "No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship."
